Low Speed Cradle Block Overcapper, Capper, Lidder – Cradle-Chain

Containers are backlogged into a timing screw and timed into captivator blocks.  These blocks maintain control of the container as well as the shape as it passes through the overcapper.  The front edge of the container will catch the leading edge of the cap, which is set to stick out of the cap chute to meet the container underneath the roller assembly and the containers are released from the blocks after the cap is applied.

Applications

Straight-walled or tapered soft containers
Overcaps: round, square, rectangular, injection molded
2” – 6” diameter containers
